Maine Businesses for Sustainability Workshop May 11 (note new date) at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport

With a focus on social entrepreneurship, sustainable tourism and the bottom line benefits of sustainable practices, this workshop offers something for every business: a look at sustainable trends in Maine’s number one industry (tourism); insights into the world of social entrepreneurship both here in Maine and around the world; as well as a look at how Maine businesses are implementing sustainable initiatives to save operational expenses.

In addition, Maine Businesses for Sustainability will present a report on its various new programs and membership levels: the Sustainable Assessment Tool currently being piloted with 7 Maine Businesses, the green event certification tool, and its vision for the future.
